A week of workshops on the Digital Arts

Tuesday 15 August and Wednesday 16 August

Video Making
Recommended over 15 years old
An introduction to video capture, led by artists Rebecca Moss and Nastassja Simensky. Sessions will take place offsite and in the Digital Learning Space using green screen.

Thursday 17 August

Infographics and Digital Sound Making
Recommended over 15 years old
Add to your video-making skills and digital explorations using our facilities. BBC graphic designer, Leo Scutt-Richter will show you how to create infographics for television using green screen. You can also explore digital sound-making, guided by sound artist Stuart Bowditch, which can be added to your video, or as a one-off experiment.

Video Editing
Recommended over 15 years old
Complete your video-making week with a day of editing, guided by artists Rebecca Moss and Nastassja Simensky.

Saturday19 August

Family Arts Day
Free
Enjoy a day of family activity in our bespoke digital learning space with artist Seth Pimlott. Family Arts Day is open to all ages, however children must be accompanied by an adult.

Experimental Video Screenings

Video and sound experiments made by young people during DigiFEST Week will be shown on Big Screen Southend.
